Description
A container with a drain hole is recommended. For rapid growth, faster establishment and accelerated root development, we recommend PlantVine’s Natural Root Stimulant.POTTING / TRANSPLANTINGFill about 1/3 of the container and compact (press down). The amount of compaction will depend on the drainage requirements of the plant. Loosen the plant’s root-ball and place in the center of the container. Add or shift soil so the top of the root ball is about 1” from the top rim of the container. Add more soil around the sides of the root-ball and compact. Additional soil might be needed after compaction. Water thoroughly and let drain.PROPAGATION & CUTTINGSThis is an ideal mix for cuttings as it is sterile and contains no fertilizers which may cause burning. For cuttings and divisions, start with a small container with drainage hole and compact the soil very lightly. The light, highly aerated soil discourages rot and fungus. Water thoroughly initially, but lightly thereafter until established.PlantVine Indoor Soil Mix contains a proprietary blend of peat and bark with perlite for drainage and aeration. It does not contain fertilizers so the right type of fertilizer for each individual plant can be used. Although annual repotting is recommended for optimal plant health, it is not strictly necessary.
